I am a volunteer with a full time job and a family. I am not IT trained. I try to authorise all new accounts, elevate paid members and retrieve lost passwords within 24 hours. If I don’t, it’s normally because I am on our boat with limited WIFI and or 3G. Bear with me. Please do not send me SHOUTY angry emails. Just give me a gentle nudge and I will do my best.

There is NOTHING--absolutely nothing--half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.
I think some people are under the impression that the association is part of the Shetland Boats company and as such, has full time paid staff to jump to attention when members send posts. Its good that you clarified the situation and rest assured that the vast majority of the members appreciate your efforts.
Just been reading this, wanted to offer my help if needed, have lots of IT experience (Snr Technical Consultant - AKA Pen tester) with experience running several forums (tzaclan.net - now gone and 300zx.co.uk owners club (membership secretary).
