At last - my new to me outboard is fitted and running well - just in time for our trip to Loch Awe on Tuesday 25th, staying till Friday lunchtime. Mostly Pike fishing but also cruising about enjoying the quiet running Mariner 60 EFi purring along!

I use a 10" Android tablet (Motorola Xoom) works very well with Navionics UK & Holland version. great for route plotting, marking fishing hot spots etc. I use mine in a waterproof bag from amazon (for any tab)

Hi Guy's I used to have a 535 which over 2yrs I restored, for sealing the windows you need to use windscreen sealer not your run of the mill diy sealer.
DIY sealer will dry out and go hard, where as Windscreen sealer will stay soft and plyable thus keeping the seal.

I also have the same "problem" my puddle was first noticed after a first run out form Broughty Ferry on the Tay estuary to Arbroath harbour and return, we just bailed it out into a bucket when we got the 535 back on it's trailer. Got her home and checked ...

Wind was strong - blew the portabote sideways on the beach fully loaded - 8ft!!!! caught a few Perch but nothing else doing. Quit and went home on Tuesday morning as the conditions were too bad for fishing.
Hopefully get the 535 down next spring, may even store it at Milarrochy C&C site for the ...
