did you in the find correct size pitch prop for your old sheltie with mariner 60 hp seams i have the same problem over revving prop dia & pitch seam
to small
sorry mate cant remmenber exactly as i sold the boat ,
think i tried 11x15, brought the revs write down, felt like a way better ...

sorry only seen this now,
used international paint mate,
3coats sprayed,
really pleased with it,
have to say its worth the extra money paying for a good quality paint,

i know its says it will take a 20ft boat, but by the looks of it it wouldnt suit ur shetland

a mate of mine had his pilot 17 on one for a few years,
he put a lenght of channel iron down the middle and some cross peaces in it,
rollers up the centre and bunked either side,
worked well for him,
only changed it because he got a roller trailer at a good price

was in a bit of a state when i got it ,
really pleased with how its turned of and reallt flies with the mariner 75 4 stroke

but a mate of mine had one and there a great sea boat.

tats a pity i thought owtrol would of shifted it for u, agree about the temp dont think tat would make much difference.
looks like the nitromorse will defo have to come out.

i had good results stripping the paint off a boat i resprayed last year using owtrol marine strip.
takes a while to work then just wash it off with a powerwasher,
