I’ve got an Extreme 2600 trailer often tow to Norfolk from Stevenage about 100 miles each way, tows very well !

I have a 4+2 with a 75 hip Honda on the blunt end and have achieved 22 mph across Brendon water on the Norfolk Broads. The total weight of my boat weighs 2060 kilos, but that’s sitting on an Extreme Trailers 2600 which the manufacturer says weighs 550
Kilos on its own !!!! So boat weight ...

I’ve got a 4+2 with a 75 hip Honda and it’s fine for pottering about on the Norfolk broads but gives it a max top speed of 22 mph but it struggles to get there with two heavy adults , a dog a a weeks worth of fuel and other tat !

Hi there, if your budget is 10-20k then you’d do a lot worse than look at a 5-10 year old 4+2 , we’ve got one with a 75 hip Honda on the blunt end and it goes very well .Also at broads speeds very frugal .

Try Numax batteries, I’ve got two of them in the back of my 4+2 ,bought them off Amazon 2 years ago 105 amp hr. when we moor up for the night I switch off one battery with the isolator and then I run all the lights ,water pump,shower drain pump and everything else off of that one battery all night ...

On my 4+2 we have 2 7kg bottles one that is connected which is upright,and a spare which sits upside down next to the one in use ! Hope that helps.
