Our new boat(new to us anyway) arrived today and everything is very confusing still. Its a 4+2 and we are extremely pleased with it so far. Everything seems to work and everything seems to be there that should be there. But I do have a couple of questions for anyone who is feeliing like ...

Tubular Heaters.
Hi all .
Does anybody use a tubular heater on their boat to keep condensation and damp at bay over the winter?
Im thinking of getting one but unsure as to how effective or indeed how safe they would be?
Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

New member, new boat.
Hi all, just joined today and also just bought my first Shetland today. We've had a boat before but it was about fifteen years ago, and was a very basic Norman 18.
Today we've just bought a Shetland 4+2 hard top and frankly I'm chuffed to bits with it.
