On the Black Hawk I just sold the ply was just screwed into the wooden sections within the fiberglass roof similar to Boris description, you can pick up the small plastic screw caps in Wilkinsons for pennies

Mostly loch fishing for me, thats when the family let me out

lol, it's the wee black plastic plug that lets you drain your boat of any water taken on-board and if you don't remember to put it back in when launching again you'll see just how important it is

She's a lovely boat and you'll prob be putting her in and out yourself in no time, just remember the bung

How did you get on then?

I went shooting past you late sunday afternoon only to get ambushed by MILLIONS of midges at the boat yard :evil: so decided not to hang around and get eaten alive and just headed home a night early :(

Hopefully gonna be back up next weekend to give the boat a good clean ...

I'm heading up to the Loch tomorrow (fri) with the kids, hopefully see you on Sunday at some point

I use a 2nd hand 4hp Mercury and it pushes the BH along just fine especially at very low revs for trolling, also saves a bloody fortune on fuel

Picked it up on gumtree for £450 with a nice Avon 280 Dingy, so worth looking around
