I am also in the process of replacing the screen on my 570. I forgot to measure the thickness of the perspex and won't be at the boat for a few weeks so could anyone also tell me the thickness of the perspex so that I can order it now.

Does anyone know where I could get a Shetland 570, what I think is called a light bar (could be wrong name). This is as shown in the example photo any info on this or something similar would be helpful

I would try Littleport Boat Haven in Ely, they have a website, just Google it. They made me a stainless steel frame for my 570 and it is an excellent bit of kit.

My boat is a 570 and came with a pulpit fitting so I would imagine that it is fairly easy to fit one. I have attached somme photos just to show you. Good luck, Erik

If you look under Boat Specs and 570 in this forum you will see a list of all numbers regarding the 570. It looks like it will be between 1976-77. My 570 is 1405 so not far off yours.
