We used the Starbrite cannopy cleaner available in most chandlers. Just used a blue cloth to apply and rinsed of with a cloth containing clean water. Got to say it was superb and didn't require scrubbing

We had a 640 for a while. It was a great solid boat. The inside is roomy. Ours had an oven and hob and hanging locker. We had a birthday party on board for my nephew. Five of us sat down and eat in comfort. As long as you are happy to travel along up to 6 mph it will be fine

Have you thought of the Shetland Black Prince as an option? I have one with an 120hp Volvo inboard which I currently use on river but am planning to cross the channel with in two years time. I will be looking to carry something like a 8hp auxillary outboard as well.
