Hi Keithyboy, Dont forget to add the weight of the engine to the total weight. My 4+2 was estimated at 1500kg, by Shetland, with a 90hp outboard. A chandler tried to sell me a trailer with a 1200kg load! Even trie dto convince me it was ok.

I fitted a Garmin fish finder to my old classic impala and will be transferring it to my Shetland 4+2.
I used 25mm white plastic conduit to run the cable down the outside of the transom. Using saddle clamps I was able to attach to the boat without the need to drill holes below the waterline ...
