For those that know the Mariner / Yamaha outboard. You can see in the first video clip that I moved the outboard tell tale to the port side so I could clearly see it from the helm.Along with fitting a temperature sensor and gauge.
Bit obsessed with over heating !!! Got some very dirty ground where she is moored.

I will look into this, Over the weekend I’ll send you over the boat plate for the manufacturer number and see if I can find the outboard details as well.

I’ve posted some pictures, one of my 535 plate
Also the model of my outboard if you can’t see the serial number in picture it’s 12503
As you can see on my outboard I have a bracket for gear shift and for my steering (I have this cable fitted on boat)
My only issue is how to adapt the cable in picture on tiller to throttle kit in my picture
Neil I haven’t looked properly at the link you sent but maybe that’s the only way.
Anyone else have any info/tips that would be great.

Number looks like 125583 - definitely one more number than you say!!
