Hi,
Overhanging windows are common in boats like Pilot boats or fishery patrol vessels that work in the worst kinds of weather, it helps with visibility when the rain or spray is very heavy. Personally, when the weather forecast is that bad my boat is securely moored in the marina, and no-one would get me to venture out.

I have now sold my 1989 F4 mk4, 2015 70hp 4str Yamaha. Milford Haven. I proudly owned it for over 20 years, before changing to sailpower and a yacht...
