Over the last couple of weekend, in between the rain and snow, iv been out and made a start on Jennifer.
Some pic for you're pleasure






I have now painted the side of the rear deck, and also t-cut half of the gel coat which has come up lovely I'm really pleased .
So what's next ? Well I shall make a start on sanding down the hull ready for primer and antifoul, I will then finish t-cutting the gel coat and then make a star on putting her back together. I now have a Yamaha 55hp 2stroke engine and will be fitting it myself with the help of a friend who has played with boats for years .

I will update with more pictures as I go

Looking and sounding good. Keep posting your progress as it is similer to what I am doing with my 498 when the weather allows.

I will take up the ply next time I'm out working on it,not that there's anything wrong with it, just for myself really I think with a coat or 2 of anti slip paint it will look good but I just want to see that everything underneath is ok.



So this is one side after a good t-cut and polish, I will need to get some new fendering as its broken on the other side but that can wait !

That is 2 coats of dulux oil based paint, so undercoat or gloss, I used undercoat and put it on thick and because its oil based it drys hard and comes hard wearing !

It looks great where did you get the oil paint so

I got mine from work as I'm a decorator, but you can get it from any where ! Just buy dulux undercoat

Well after. Not to ad a day weather wise I went out and got the hull primed ready for the antifoul coat , plus a few other things .....







I have also bought a tool to help me get the windows back in as its to hard to do without but going to leave it until last thing !

I'll have to put windows back on too, on my 498. Is your tool meant to pull the string in the rubber or does it have another purpose?
