Ok here it is. I have tested in all browswers and it all seems ok. Please let me if anything does not work by telling me what happens and which browswer you are using.

I still have a few tweaks to make - so bear with me.

Better with the boat logo, didn't figure on gray!

Don't want to be the party breaker but I feel a little uncomfortable, don't really know why. May be the colors have less contrast than before, or the boxes are larger. It would be useful to compare statistics of accesses and posts before and after the change to see if (on average) that has been an improvement in usability or not.

If I can remember correctly PhpBB should have the opportunity to let user change the visual theme they like (among a few chosen by admin). May help users with uncommon problems (or uncommonly petulant, like me )

Thank you for the feedback - we had to make changes due to a major upgrade in phpBB. I do have access to the sites statistics but to be fair it would have to be over a complete year as this is now approaching the quiet part time of the year and the board is less busy in winter than summer anyway.

You know the old saying " You can please some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time"

Lets see how it goes, I cant go back to the old sytle as its no longer supported
