launching & retrieving shetland 570 boat

hi all ....
how hard is it launching & retrieving a shetland 570 boat . what the best & safe way to do this ! cheers & thanks for any advice .

practise makes perfect, as do manners.

depends on the trailer. If you dont like getting your feet wet a break back trailer with 2 cradles works a dream! Bunked means more lining it up so a good trailer is well worth the money for most people.

Take it we are talking solo? Don't get the trailer too deep and have a long rope on the stern and bow.Aim the boat and try to just get the nose on the trailer so the rear end doesn't swing away in tide, current or wind. Climb off the front holding both ropes. You can then clip on the trailer wire and have the stern under control as you winch.
