SHETLAND OWNERS ASSOCIATION

Ahoy there on my trips up and down the river Severn and the Avon I notice there are quite a few Shetlands my question is are there any owners of said boats on here ?

most shetland owners are or were on here or should be on here. I have also not found a none chatting shetland owner and many people who have met on this site now meet up for trips. In Scotland there are a bunch of old members who go out every 2 months but mots now have not be on here for a few years.

I would guess as a Shetland owners site, most people do or did own a Shetland. I have owned 2. This time of year can be a bit quiet on here but come the summer the site buzzes

The reason for me asking is I have made very good friends with some owners through the owners association and spent some very enjoyable days and weekends together but unfortunately due to them buying bigger boats I don't think they will be coming back onto the river Severn or the Avon

Hi Billy I have not made it that far on the Avon as yet would love to see some photos from your neck of the woods when you start cruising again this year what facilities are there on the Avon ie marinas slipways and such like
