SHETLAND OWNERS ASSOCIATION

hello ,
So far I have not been able to find any brochure or specs regarding the maximum number of passengers allowed on board a SHETLAND 498 of 1979.
is there a sort of a "builders certificate" or something similar to be sure

no hard and fast rule other than common sense and your insurance T&C's. You as skipper are responsible for everyone onboard so bear that in mind too. Other than that more weight more fuel you will burn.

also think of your engine the speed will drop a lot with the more people you put on it . any more than 4 and you sill strugge with power
