SHETLAND OWNERS ASSOCIATION

hi I recently picked up a bargain boat in need of a good cleand and some tlc and from my initial finding everything suggests that it is a shetland. unfortunatly there does seem to be any plate around the steering wheel

So here is me hoping that someone on here can from shape give me an idea if it i a shetland and if so what model... I thought at first it was a 535 but it's only 16ft

It seems that Shetland has become the term for all small cruisers, a bit like Hoover for vacuum cleaner. The boat you have is a Marina 16, built by Hemmings & Morris of Birmingham. It's another quality built boat and with its deep v hull is good at speed in a chop. Welcome to the forum, problems are still problems whatever the make.

I personally think it's a good looking little boat.
