4+2 cockpit berth

Hi all,I have now got my 4+2 & I'm well chuffed.Having time to work my way thro' its bits & pieces I'm struggling to sus out how the rear seating converts to a double berth? I don't appear to have any spare boards or cushions & the rear backrest is way to long. Am I missing something obvious or is something actually missing? Cheers Magic

Hi Dave
My 4 + 2 has a rear seat and two side seats making a U shaped seating area. The boat came with a fourth seat base which was stored in the cabin in the area behind the dining table seats. This seat or rather bed base is shorter than the rear seat and sits on two wooden battens just below the side seats making the double bed filling in the void of the u shape.

Hi there,my seat format is as you describe but I have no extra wooden boards or cushions. Since making my post I've noticed the metal plate in the gas locker giving BS insurance/safety info, this says the boat is for carrying up to 5 plus luggage, so I wonder if this is the reason for the missing seat squab,cheers for the reply & all the best for New Year Magic
