hi all, i am thinking of buying a 535 and was looking for advice on what probleams to look for, also does any one know how shallow you can launch a 535 .thanks

I was looking at a 535, looked at loads of them, until I saw the 498/hobby. see if you can find one and have a look they seem to be generally better looked after and fitted out.

I think it's just general condition with the 535, as long as it's reasonably sound looking then it probably is, not much to go wrong. Always good to examine the transom a little more closely, any sign of anything might be trouble but they are tough boats.
You should be able to launch one in quite shallow water, much depends on the trailer hight but 18" to be safe I guess

Hi, this is a bit late in the day as i've just joined, from experience try and get one wth original Gelcoat i.e not painted, then you can see what your getting.
