Shetland Saker covers

Adding some photos of my cover and frame, been in contact with Nuaticover and they can make a new cover but don't do the framework. I am not sure this framework is correct or really useable as seems twisted and maybe broken (think it is broken where the silver tape is all around).
This frame has flat ends (something like the end of a broom handle) that push in the holes (the black bits in/on the holes are quite broken any ideas what these are called?), spoke to the chandlery and they had no idea what I was talking about with this frame.
Can you guys have a look and advise please, also any ideas of where could get new framework please?
Anyone know about tonneau for Shetland Sakers please as an alternative?
