SHETLAND OWNERS ASSOCIATION

The front rail came with the boat when i bought it 2nd hand.
But I have seen them for sale on ebay

Here is a picture of my 536/ family four MK1.

Its exactly the same as my boat and i was informed by shetland boats ltd that it was a family 4 MK1.
Can't understand why they had 536 on the id plate

My boat also has 536 on its id plate. But i was told that it was actually a family four MK1.
The difference is that the family four MK1 has a hatch above the cabin door and the 536 doesn't.
There was an overlap from the 536 and family four, it was a 536 and then a 536 family four MK1 and then it was ...

But i have to agree that it is not a 535.
Has it got a gull wing hull ?
If it hasn't, then it maybe a mayland boat
Its still a very nice boat

There was a page on the old shetland owners web site that gave the reg' number and age of boat ref's.
But its not on the new web site :?:
There should be a small metal badge beside your cabin door that will say Shetland 535 and the reg' number of the boat.
Maybe the S.O.A. site administrator could ...

I'm also going to try a caravan dealer near to me. They also sell caravan interior equipment + parts.
So they maybe worth a try

An outboard lock can be bought from ebay for a reasonable price. Less than £30.00 depending on the size of the outboard.
