I have a shetland 570 with a 30hp engine and I want to replace it with a 4 stroke Yamaha 100hp which weighs about 180kg. Does anybody know if the transom will be able to take this weight?? The Shetland offical recommendation is a hp limit of 115 but this was in the 80s when it was all 2 stroke ...
