I have the same issue, a telescopic pole with a c-clip at both ends was the cure. Oddly, when I googled that to post a link for you I'm just getting Australian websites, anyway, try a camping shop or somewhere that sells awnings.

More than a bit late, but if anyone else is looking, that trailer had no brakes so you would not be able to tow anything over 750kg with it, that weight includes the trailer itself, so a 570 on that would be a no-no.

Quality of the co-ax cable perhaps? Are there any sharp kinks in the Co-Ax, has it been trapped behind a door or shelf, are there any joiners that have corroded etc? Does it actually make any difference to the picture quality if you have the booster turned on or off? Or even if the aerial lead is ...
