SHETLAND OWNERS ASSOCIATION

I'd like to get my hands on a cheap(ish) cockpit cover for my old 535 to keep her dry on her sheltered inland mooring. Anyone know any suppliers/makers in the Norfolk/Suffolk area? I did ask before but have lost track of the one or two answers I received - sorry.

It is a crying shame that one of Britain's most beautiful waterways has such crap facilities. I live here and often feel ashamed at how rubbish many of them are.
A tip? Have you tried the Waveney area around Beccles? Not so vast as the northern Broads but absolutely beautiful with such facilities ...

Here she is, battered and bruised but with new safety cert, licence, and insurance following clean bill of health after hull inspection. Proper renovation can wait until next year. Now to get her on the water while I think about seat covers and paint colours....

Sorry, I found it the easy way - by phoning the yard where she's stored and asking for the number. Sadly, I didn't ask where they found it!

The hull number on my 535 is 1394. Anyone know which year of manufacture that indicates?

Excellent idea, I should be on tHe water in 2 or 3 weeks- weather permitting!

Having got through the safety (for Broads licence) and hull inspection (for insurance) today, I'm just waiting for the prop to be changed (from a cannibalised spare engine) and an engine service before getting her on the water ...

Sure did, even tho the vendor turned out to be just down the road. BTW, I bet you're the one who outbid me for those fenders!
Oh, and wish me luck for my safety cert and sound hull inspections on Thursday.
