This is my 536 which looks just like and F4! I was told it was an F$ all the way through the purchasing emails and it was only when i went to see it i discovered it was a 536. I don't believe there is much difference from all the gumph i have read. Just a name change.

I believe it is a buoyancy aid. It was part of the unique selling points when new. Shetland advertised it half under water with three guys fishing off it.

Glad to say i am completely new to Shetland and boats in general. Lockdown made me decide to by a boat and now i own a 536 for about two months now. I have had a sea trial in the harbor at Queensborough Kent. That went really well and confirmed the boat was sound. I am now preparing it ...
