How obvious is the HIN if there is one? Is it quite a large stamp like the Shetland one?

Thanks Sue. I had already looked for the HIN but can only find Shetlands serial number stamped in to the top right of the transom. Unless its on the underside which still has some anti foul on I'm in the process of stripping off.

Just found the colour names in the library section (magnolia white and mid blue).

If anyone has any ideas on finding out the age I would be grateful.

I've had a look in the boat specs section but the thread for the Sheltie doesn't show any model numbers/dates. Is this data available anywhere for the Sheltie?

I'm also trying to match the hull and superstructure colours for some small repairs - did Shetland use any standard colour codes ...

Just bought my first boat a couple of days a go which is a very nice little Shetland Sheltie. Not had it in the water yet as there are a couple of things I want to do first but looking forward to some fun in a couple of weeks time.

I'm sure I'll have a few questions along the way!
