Boat for sale in need of refurb. Been on front lawn for 5 years and needs to go. WREXHAM. N WALES. Sitting on big roller trailer purchased with new axle and running gear 6 years ago. I paid £3400 for boat and £1100 for the trailer. Please offer as you see fit. Thank you.

Finally on the water. Up and down the river Dee in Chester. Over nighters and picnics. Next year the open sea and lakes.

I like the sound of that. I'll definitely be doing that later this year.

What about somewhere in the Severn near you? I am in a similar situation to yourself and am going to try Chester slipway in Sandy Lane for the Dee in a couple of weeks. Got to get a safety cert and licences first though.

Anybody heard of 'GJW Direct', boat insurance?

Just put up the canopy that came with the boat. It is not in too bad a condition except the window panels are completely orange! You can't realy see thrugh them. I have tried to clean them using different methods including petrol but not had any luck.
Any ideas? Or is it a lost cause?

I have been recommended CRAFT INSURE for boat insurance by another member. Looking through their application forms I have to declare the top speed of my boat. This I do not know yet. Can anyone advise? My boat is a Shetland 570 +Mucury 75hp 2st. Boat is about 30 years old.
