Don't worry too much about struggling through the locks - you'll be surprised how many people get in a mess. In a couple of months, you'll be an expert compared to some!

I'm based at Redhill Marina, just down (or up?!?) the river from you. Seen this boat for sale at Beeston Marina and noticed in the last few weeks somebody had bought it. I remember it because it's the same as my 535. Even down to the fact that my Mum also made my curtains, ha ha.

I also tend to have a problem with water getting in, but I think I'm more or less on top of it now. If the boat is out of water, quite often if I simply change the angle of the boat on the trailer more water appears.
