Oh no! That means that anything I buy for it is almost certain not to fit! Just to confirm - it is a 535?

If it is could you tell me what is unsusual about it?

As I saw her before purchase. I think the original name was "The Serendipity of Leam" A fair bit of work needing done. In the driveway but making progress.

Thanks for the feedback. I have been gathering lots of advice from my friends (fellow Shed Heads) and so far I have managed to fix my steering by finding the US manufacturer of the parts and locating the UK distributor. So now the steering is smooth and rigid (and cheaply repaired)

I have rashly purchased myself a Shetland 535. It is functional but I would like to make it pretty. At the moment the list of jobs are:
New windscreen
New front and side windows
New front vent
Rewire
Internal ceiling replaced
Top hatch replaced/fixed
+ the million little adjustements and hinges ...

Well thats good. The trailer is sound, the engine is sweet.

No fire blanket or VHF radio but it does have a fish finder, navigation lights and I have a pack of four lifejackets (I'd be a bit reticent using second hand jackets anyway).

I bought the beastie and she will be in my drive for the next ...

Just looking at a 535 and I wondered if there were any gotchas or nasties I should be aware of before I hand over my hard earned cash.

Its a 535 with a Mercury 40 on the back, covers and a four wheeled trailer.
