Hi jocks, oops put my foot in it didnt I, i was wondering why nobody said anything. Now I may be wrong but i dont think iam, I would say it isnt a shetland 535, which if you bought it thinking it was or were told it was im really sorry to be the one to tell you this. Go onto google and type in shetland 535 and have a look at all the pictures and you will see the difference. Again if im wrong and it is a 535 im really sorry to make you think otherwise, i actually feel bad now that i posted at all. Hopefully somebody else can post here to confirm what i have said

Can i just add that even if it isnt a 535 it doesnt mean it isnt a good boat and as long as you are enjoying it then whats the difference.

But i have to agree that it is not a 535.
Has it got a gull wing hull ?
If it hasn't, then it maybe a mayland boat
Its still a very nice boat

Well either way I am happy with the boat, which is the good news. The difficulty now is that I cannot purchase 535 acessories and expect just to fit them.

Ho hum, it all adds to the joy of refurbiushing it! I've had a look at Maryland and it does not look like them either - I'll take some more pictures and post them in the hope someone recognises the type.

In the meantime, with your kind permission I shall continue to use this website as you guys are full of knowledge!
