Hi Folks, It just occured me that on here and out and about i dont seem to see any brand new/ In the last 5 year shetlands. Why is this is the competition cheaper/better now a days. I have a 1973 535 myself. Just thought what you all thought. Was looking at boats al be it fishing boats and i like the predator 165 and my god its £5000 brand new or £12000 with 60hp engine and indespension trailer all ready to go. It gets a great write up not sure what it would be like in 30/40 years though.

there were a few less than 10 years old being sold on boats and outboards and a 50K one on ebay (sorry dont remember the model) but there are not as many as some other makes that look amazing.
Also like you say ,it is time that will make the boat great or rubbish and it will be intersting to see how many of the gin palaces are still being used in 30-40 years time.
