Club Burgees - IMPORTANT

Gentlefolk of the SOA. After many requests and some serious research on my part, I have managed to find a company that will do a short run of burgees. However it does put the cost up. The last set of burgees were £13 inc p&p but this run would be a bit more expensive. They would work out at £18 per burgee including P&P

I need to know if there are sufficient people that would order so I am not left with a draw full of unused flags. So please can you vote

Can you show me a picture of the burgee again please.

Also, it would be nice to have it in the header at the top
of the page. Most Sailing / Yacht / Boat Clubs etc show it
at the top of the page as soon as you hit the website.

More than happy with the price, the Viking Owners Club was £22 for their burgee.

Come on peoples, only the price of a couple of pints/bottle of wine!!

I don't have a image of the current design as the company will only put it together if there is a definite order but it will be a woven polyester triangle white in colour with the site logo in the middle . See the logo at the top of the page.

The art work for the site logo is already set up. Anything else would be an extra cost.

This is my concern:- The last run of burgees were done as a favour from a friend who has since retired. We had a run of 50. They took over 3 years to sell. this is a run for 100 to make it work while. I am concerned that I am going to end up with a drawer of the damn things.

You have to remember we are not affiliated in anyway with Shetland Boats in the way that the Viking Owners club is. we don't have a newsletter to advertise in or another website.

we fly a Hardy burgee. But they advertise in their bimonthly newsletter and on their main Sales site and their owners site.

we tried the burgee route once and as I say, it was hard work getting rid of them all

So... I am happy to download the site logo, so it you want to make your own burgee at a a local T shirt printer, that could be a solution.

I am waiting for the poll results - we have a yes for 5 so far

The logo is t the top of the page. The burgee would be just the same. White triangle with the logo in the middle. It just so happens the logo is square
