Shetland 570 engine

Hi I'm doing up my first shetland 570 I'm looking at a 2002 honda 90 4 stroke outboard. Does dose anyone know what the cruising speed and wot speeds would be with this engine?

I would guess WOT should be 30-35mph and cruising speed around 4,000 revs to be 20-25 mph. That is what I am getting on a heavier 2+2 with an old 2 stroke 125hp Mercury. Be mindful that the Honda is probably as heavy as the maximum recommended 115 hp from the seventies. You will sip fuel compared to me though! Would recommend a rev counter and keep friendly with the dealer so that you can match the prop size to your rig (depending on weight/people on board) after a few trials bearing in mind the WOT rev requirements.

Most honda engines ar bullet proof but heavy . the speed quoted are about right as I was getting that with an 80efi suzuki
