Tubular Heaters.

Hi all .
Does anybody use a tubular heater on their boat to keep condensation and damp at bay over the winter?
Im thinking of getting one but unsure as to how effective or indeed how safe they would be?
Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Yes we do. 2 in the engine bay and one in the cabin. Have used them for years with no problems

Ours are on permanently during the winter. The one in the cabin is mounted on a piece of board, laid on the floor and is on a timer

If you haven't already got one a small dehumidifier which are quite cheap on ebay is well worth using as well.
