what price a 570 project

Ahoy shipmates ,i own a Shetland 570 ' i have had her for many many years 'sadly the transom rotted but good news has had a brand new one fitted also removed wooden flooring but not replaced as yet ' my son's have lost interest so thinking of selling her she needs a total refurbish solid boat on a 4 wheel braked galvanized trailer - what i want to know your thoughts as how much i should ask as a project or going concern ? thanks everyone based in wales

Brynabear, I bought a shetland 570 a couple of years ago as a project, bare boat fully stripped out and it cost me £400.00, boat only and trailers dependant on make size of wheels bunked / roller etc vary in costs quite a lot so I would guess around £500.00 +/- for the trailer. Hopefully this helps.

I would have thought more for either. Covid has changed lots of things and boats and campers are the new currency! Any trailer worth its salt will fetch a grand I reckon. When I was looking 2 years ago £500 trailers were rough. Depends how much work needed on the boat for a price and I’m not familiar with buying a 570.
