cupboard discolouration.

Hi, Shetland Kestrel.

Has anyone had the same problem as me?
Most of all the cupboards and panels have discoloured slightly with a whiteish colour. I wondered what's the best way to get rid of this. Tried normal washing up liquid doesn't do it - still there. I was thinking of a compound of some sort, but don't know if the wood panels are covered from manufacturer with something.

Any ideas?

Sounds like damp. I’ve got some old furniture in my shed that does that every winter. It’s not a good thing to have if it’s mould as it gets into everything. Curse of wintering boats, mines on a trailer at home using shore power and I have a dehumidifier which does the job.
