Shetland boat data

Has anyone tried contacting Shetland boats with a view to access their database of boat build dates etc, no personal or specific data?
Just wondering if it was worth a shot so it could be accessed on here and they could note on their website so not keep getting Enquiries.

Any Boat build data, as still held by Shetland is probably restricted to members of their Official Owners Association who pay an annual subscription to Shetland boats. This forum is not the official one.

I didn’t know they had an official owners association. Where can I find it?

Can’t find anything online that mentions it either. Only this forum and FB groups. Have you got a link dellquay13?

It was there a couple of years ago on the Shetland website, about £26 a year, maybe it ended when Shetland had their rumoured bankruptcy.
I don't think it was very popular,but they did sell it as having info about serial numbers available only to paid up members, and us of course for a lot less on here

I was a member of the official Shetland club from the early 70s (still have the burgee). It was a very active club with rallies and dinners at posh London hotels. Unfortunately it turned into a chance for Shetlands to push they're latest offerings and gradually went downhill. I never officially left but haven't heard from them for over thirty years.
