535 auxiliary, long shaft or short shaft
Hello, looking to get an auxiliary engine (around 4hp) for my 535 and was just wondering if anyone knew if I'd need a long shaft or short shaft. Cheers.

It depends, some 535s had a full width 15" high transom that will take a short shaft. You can also fit a short shaft if you are using one of the sprung drop down brackets. I use a short shaft on such a drop bracket on my F4. It doubles up as my tender motor too.
Low hp Short shaft outboards are also much more common and tend to be cheaper than longshafts, as it is usually only yachties who buy long ones.
