Shetland family four 2011

Good morning,

I am just in the process of purchasing a 2011 Shetland family four.

It has a swim platform that the outboard sits on, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what weight of engine this can take?

I'm purchasing it with no engine.

I have a 60hp on mine but I believe they can take 70hp.

I have a 4+2 with a stainless steel tube and timber slats swim platform. The engine mounting is stainless plate either side of 40mm solid hardwood. It is rated 90hp engraved into the metal. Maybe yours is marked somewhere?

Thankyou for your replies, mine has the swim platform on the back the same I think, do you run a short shaft or long shaft on this? Thankyou
