Potential owner

Hi all, considering going up in size from my near immaculate Freeman 23. Even though they are great boats fancy something a bit more modern because as beautiful the woodwork is on Freeman's it's a lot of work to keep on top of it all. As age creeps up fancy something less maintenance. Considering a 27 or poss a 29 but up into another price level, any owners of 27's here can give me insight of what to look out for or any pitfalls, what's good and not so good etc ? Would prefer an inboard on shaft, but if the boat was right I might go outboard.

Maybe not? Have you tried the Facebook groups, they are very active and may help with your questions.

I think they are quite few and far between and maybe the owners not the type who join forums! Look in Norfolk or Jones Boatyard. YouBoat have some Shetlands. It’s a search, so keep putting out feelers. I looked for a year for my 4+2. Good luck and keep us posted.
