Newbie to boating

Hi I am a newbie to boating and have brought a Shetland Saker no.007, I am looking for a river mooring but am being asked for "Boat details - (length, LOA, beam,draught,make,name,model etc):" I'm not sure what most of these things are, could someone help please?

Also we have a sink but not water tank under it is there a name of what I should be looking for for this please?

And another sorry, can I fit a swim ladder and where and how? what sort is ok to use please?

The wife will probably tell me I have for gotten to ask some things!

Hi and welcome. If you are a complete newbie it is worth paying the £5 admin fee to access the entire forum as well as view and post pictures. There is a section called “boat specs” which has all the info you want about size etc. I don’t have a Saker so not sure about a ladder, do you have a swim platform? I have a water ‘bag’ in the bow of the boat which is likely where yours is. Follow the pipe from the tap!
Enjoy your new toy. Watch lots of YouTube videos, there are informative ones out there.

Singed up now, going to add some photos of my cover and frame, been in contact with Nuaticover and they can make a new cover but don't do the framework. I am not sure this framework is correct or really useable as seems twisted and maybe broken.
Can you guys have a look and advise please, also any ideas of where could get new framework please?
Went to Southampton boat show and spoke to a lady who said a water bag was what they used under the sink?? Any idea where I can get one to fit and maybe a silly question how do you make a waterproof connection?

New problem! Sorry help please!
De Gaff trailer seems brakes are stuck on could this be another issue? is there a way to check fix breaks with the boat on the trailer!?
Can just a normal car mechanic do the trailer breaks?

Hi, the awning alloy frame looks the same as the frame fitted on my old black hawk, the broken turn buttons should be stock item at any chandler or even on line. Re trailer brakes, a normal 2ton trolley jack will lift the trailer with the boat on, make sure it's on a solid surface, not on gravel, sometimes seized brakes can be released by moving trailer forwards & backwards ensuring of course that the trailer brake lever is in the OFF position, a hammer blow to a piece of wood placed up against the brake drum can also work, any decent mechanic should be able to do this job, it's not a specialist issue. Trailer as per Magic’s reply. I would also add never park the trailer with the brake on. Only use the brake lever to hold the trailer when hitching etc. when parked use chocks on the wheels. The brakes seize on if left on. Also, if reversing into position, before unhitching put trailer brake on and pull forward a few centimetres. This will disengage the reverse anti brake devise.
