There is a 535 with a big engine on a trailer in the boatyard at Milford, and I am hoping to be down there this weekend.
I will get some approx measurements of the distance from transom to axle to winch post on their trailer for you, if it looks well set up.
I will measure mine too. Although an F4 is substantially heavier than a 535, the balance point should be at roughly the same position as they are the same length.

I have now sold my 1989 F4 mk4, 2015 70hp 4str Yamaha. Milford Haven. I proudly owned it for over 20 years, before changing to sailpower and a yacht...

Yes, if you can, bring the boat forward on the trailer. The part the bow comes up to (has a rubber stop) is usually adjustable. I was advised to also align the winch with the eyelet on the boat.
