Shetland Family Four for sale

Genuine sale - the bigger boat is on the horizon so my beloved Shetland Family Four is up for sale. I'm a proud owner since 2018 and have been having 6 years of fun and joy using the boat.

- Cabin in great condition rebuilt/relined 3 years ago, lining still fresh and unmarked.
- Fantastic, very quiet in perfect condition 4 stroke EFI 70 HP Suzuki DF70 engine (Johnson badge, they are the same engines), about 500 hours done so far. It's never let me down, starts with first touch of the key, even, after 5 months of winterising!
- Engine oil, oil filter, all engine anodes, spark plugs replaced in April this year. Gearbox oil replaced in August 2023, impeller replaced in August 2022, the whole water pump kit replaced in May 2022.

The boat comes with:
- Aux engine bracket (white Yamaha engine visible in the photos not included)
- Raymarine VHF radio + VHF antenna + GARMIN GPS antenna
- Navigation lights
- 25 litre fuel tank + water separator filter + hoses with primer
- 3 years old battery
- New swivel seats and new pedestal
- 9" Lowrance Fish Reveal fishfinder TRIPLE SHOT transducer with original box and manuals
- 1300 kg SBS Fletcher Continental bunked (aluminium bunks) road trailer with new in 2021 1300 kg Knott axle + new wheels and tyres. Heavy duty, very good 2-speed winch. I've never connected the brakes so they are not connected. Chassis is in average condition - rusty spots here and there but still solid and tows perfect. Usually I tow the boat 50 miles each way to launch in marina.

The boat is a great little vessel perfect for cruising or fishing (I do both). Original side benches have been removed to extend the deck space but I still have them and I can throw them in if you want. I've added more stainless steel grab rails for safety. The boat is fast, can do 35 knots. Cruising speed is 16-17 knots at 3400-3500 RPM, which is very economical. Very stable at sea. Handles brilliantly even in 2 meters swell.

General boat condition: interior cabin is in perfect condition, cockpit is in good condition with no damages. Hull is solid, still with old antifoul paint underneath. Gelcoat is a bit tired and has marks, chips and small bolt holes around but I've never bothered. Mechanically great - the engine is flawless, steering is fantastic - works good and very lightly.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE no silly offers (no rush to sell despite of the fact of buying a new boat but I have space to keep both). I wont sell for £4000. Dreamers and timewasters don't come if you want just take a look.
DREAMERS PLEASE NOTE The boat is being kept ashore - it takes time to remove boat cover, connect all electronics and prepare the boat for viewing so come to see the boat if you are SERIOUS buyer and have intention to buy, not to kick fenders.

THIS IS READY TO GO SETUP - not time and money consuming project or a falling apart vessel! You can launch the boat wherever you want straight away after the purchase to have an amazing time!

Lightboard included - you just need to bring your REG plate and I will attach it securely. 13 pin plug.
