Age and arthritis have caught up with me, so Evening Tern is for sale. It's an early version so a thick layup. I've replaced the transom and cabin roof ply reinforcement and laminated it in with epoxy resin and appropriate glass matting. (See Roof! in maintenance) I replaced the original hatch with an 18 inch square glass deck hatch. She sits on a Snipe galvanized braked bunker trailer which has an add on hitch extension for those shallow angle slips, plus two hitch locks and a wheel clamp for security. Tyres and bearings OK, but brake damper is wearing. They work fine, but are a bit sudden. Main engine four stroke Mariner 60 EFI with power tilt /trim. Made up for its exorbitant cost with amazing economy and reliability compared to the old two stroke. Comes with 20 liter fuel tank and inline filter unit plus a spare tank that needs a little attention .
Standby engine is Yamaha four stroke 4 horse which was never actually needed but has a remote tank.
She comes with GPS, echo sounder/fish finder, compass, and (not yet licenced) marine VHF marine radio.
Chemical loo, cabin cushions with an infill to convert the bunks to a double, camping gas hob, chemical loo, couple of flotation aids, four inflatable fenders, ropes, main anchor with chain and rope and a smaller electric remote control anchor for tea break stops, extendable boat hook, paddle etc, plus anything else I find before she sells.
She needs a fair bit of cosmetic attention but is a sound and seaworthy boat.
