Loch Lomond update

Hi

This is just to let everyone know that they are now clamping down hard on speeding when inside the yellow buoy areas on the loch. This still leaves the vast majority of the loch unrestricted but it should help swimmers, family boaters and the fishermen.

Fishing boats

They have also starting to book people who have been antisocial by buzzing fishing boats at long last so it looks like the loch will be a better place and more fun.

Sounds good to me Dave, too many idiots on the water, have been buzzed by jet skiers when fishing - NOT funny!

Will be on Lomond next week (Sun 23rd to Wed) staying and launching from Luss Campsite. Sadly not taking the 535 as I need a new trailer, will be using my 14 ft Portabote but will still be a fun few days - just not as comfortable

Any forum members there just come alongside and say Hi!

sorry i could not catch up with you. did you have a good time?

Wind was strong - blew the portabote sideways on the beach fully loaded - 8ft!!!! caught a few Perch but nothing else doing. Quit and went home on Tuesday morning as the conditions were too bad for fishing.
Hopefully get the 535 down next spring, may even store it at Milarrochy C&C site for the summer.

I cant wait to be on the loch this summer,sadly it wont be on my own boat but should still be fun. My mate takes his jetski out but is mega respectfull of other users so there isgoodyins out there lol ;)
