Serial numbers

Hi , I am restoring my shetland 535, I have now looked at every last bit of my boat and I can not find the serial number anywhere on the boat . I would like to know how I would retrieve this as I think I might need it to register the boat ?

Any advice /help is very much appreciated .

You will find your HIN (hull identification number) stamped into the hull somewhere near the transom, its about 20 numbers long. This is the only number you really need and the only people who might ask for it are your insurance bods.

If you have a plaque with a number on it somewhere near the cock pit, that is your production number,

I only faound a serial number near the cab entrance.
