Alandvs, If you have two battery's you need to have two that are the same Ie 2 x100 amph or 2 x 85 amph and they need to be the same condition. If you have one that is different, the smaller one will pull the bigger one down to the same level as itself. The same will happen is you have one battery that is in better condition than the other, ( The better condition battery will be pulled down to the condition of the not so good one.

Thanks...I only use them one at a time. The battery ran down when I tried to start the engine. So I sent my son to go buy another as I wanted to go out on the boat that day.
