good afternoon shipmates !Does anyone have any idea what teleflex cable length is required for a 570.mine has snapped today during pre launch checks.Better ashore than afloat i suppose.need to order another kit asap in order to fit next weekend.any suppliers names would be handy as well.

Hi,
The length is normally stamped on the cable every few feet or so, and replacements come in 2 grades, up to 55hp or 55hp and above.

My cables on 570 are 13 foot long this plenty of length for outboard full lock both directions . Formula i was given measure from control to transom then across to engine add together then add another3ft .
