Hi all
Right launch day approaching in two weeks and this is my first boat so be gentle. At the minute I don't have anything for moring except fenders. What ropes ,fixings, a n other devices do I need including rope sizes, so many seems a bit confusing thanks in advance

10mm nylon rope is sufficent for mooring lines
I think you are using your boat inland, so if you have any locks to use, you will need sufficient rope for the deepest lock on your waterway, all the way up and down again so if you are standing on the boat you still have enough rope to hold onto, if that makes sense.
Moorings are normally fixed onto cleats at the bow and stern, a cleat midway along the length of the boat can also be useful. This needs to be both sides.
Suggest to do a search on Google for learning some easy knots and even splicing if you fancy it, plenty of info out there.
I would also suggest a boat hook would prove to be useful as well.
