fixing tip anybody?

Hello all, can anyone tell me the best adhesive to use when sticking a wood pannel to the hull? Within the seats at the back of my boat the fixing has come away from the side of the boat shell so thought id ask view on my best options before I go out to buy a tube of something. As always, thanks for your comments.

Hubby advises try using fibreglass for strength and a smooth finish. Small kits are available on flea bay

Agreed. If you want a really permanent bond use polyester fibreglass or West System 105 epoxy mixed with 406 colloidal silica filler. You can buy a junior pack of the latter for around £15 + £7.50 for the filler.

A cheaper alternative I have been assured is good is Waterproof No More Nails from B&Q for £7.50, but I haven't used it myself.
